Options Process

There is a programme of events, information, meetings and deadlines which supports the options processes for Year 8 Into 9 (GCSE Options) and Year 11 Into 12 (Level 3 A Level/BTEC Options) at RBA for 2018-9. This is led by Mr T. Johnston, Deputy Headteacher.

Further resources, such as application forms, presentations and guidance booklets will be available on this page as the year progresses.

GCSE Options – Year 8 Into Year 9

24th January 2019

Options Evening

6.30pm in the Hall

4th February 2019

Options interviews with Mr Johnston commence (completed by 8th February)

Through this period

  • Students/ parents confer with subject teachers and Heads of Department.
  • Subject Assemblies in Year group.
  • Careers advice available through YC Herts, subject staff or Start Profile website.

Sixth Form Application deadline – collected by Mr White, Head of Sixth Form

15th February 2019

Sixth Form Offer letters released to confirm applications.
