Library

The RBA Library is at the heart of the school. Promoting reading, in all forms, is a huge part of the life of the library. This is done in various ways including whole school book events like World Book Day, author visits and exciting, innovative displays. It also provides students with a place for private study, homework completion, quiet reading and ICT work.

There are a number of PCs in the Library which students can use for getting onto the school network and the Internet. There are also printing facilities for students to print out their work.

Students have access to a wide range of books, both fiction and non-fiction and are able to borrow a number of books for two weeks. There are also a number of reference books for use in the library to support private study and research.

Clubs are often also run in the Library as well as dedicated lunchtimes, specifically for individual year groups, to come along to read and quiz their Accelerated Reader books.

The library is open from 8.30am - 4.00pm and is run by our Library Manager Miss P Hall, along with the support of the (enthusiastic and excellent!) student Library Leaders and Library Prefects.
