Volunteer French & Spanish Language assistants needed

We are looking for two dedicated volunteers to join our school community:
- One French Language Assistant
- One Spanish Language Assistant

Support Local Students • Build Confidence • Make a Real Difference

These roles will support our KS4 students as they prepare for their GCSEs. If you are passionate about languages and enjoy helping young people grow in confidence, this is a wonderful opportunity to make a genuine impact.

What Will You Do?

As a volunteer, you will:

• Work with small groups of KS4 students (aged 14–16)

• Help develop students’ pronunciation, fluency, and speaking confidence

• Build routine and progress through weekly sessions

• Share authentic cultural knowledge and real-life language use

No formal teaching experience is required — just strong French or Spanish skills, patience, and enthusiasm.

This volunteer role would provide an excellent opportunity to experience life in a school, particularly for those considering a career working in education.

• Fluent or near-fluent language enthusiasts

• Anyone who wants to help young people succeed

A regular weekly commitment is preferred to provide continuity for students, but we are flexible and happy to discuss availability.
